WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. DUE TO THE DAMAGE INCURRED DURING THE APRIL 15, 2018 ICE STORM AND A SEWER BACK UP IN OUR BASEMENT LAST APRIL 27, 2018 WE ARE CLOSING THE FOOD BANK INDEFINITELY. WE WILL ANNOUNCE OUR RE-OPENING AS SOON AS WE GET A DEFINITE DATE WHEN WE CAN RESUME SERVICE.
Every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the evening unless indicated otherwise (see our closure dates below), we open up the foodbank to those who needs help. The last client must be in at the food bank by 6:45 PM to be served. Partnering with Daily Bread and utilizing the help of our generous volunteers we do what we can to help serve those who are currently encountering hardship in life. The clients can come every week and when available, they get a provision of frozen or canned meat, peanut butter, canned goods, fresh vegetables, dairy products, pasta and rice and other staple food.
We also offer an opportunity for high school students to get volunteer hours through our food bank program. We need volunteers on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM to receive the delivery from Daily Bread and to arrange our stocks in time for the opening of the food bank. We also need volunteers in the evening from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM to serve the clients availing of our service.
We welcome donations for food and other items that can bless the families who are coming to the Food Bank.
