A Giving Reminder from Jesus
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

At Westway we believe that everything we have belongs to God and He has entrusted us to be good stewards. Whether it is in the form of finances, resources, service or time, it is a believer’s responsibility to give back to the Lord. Giving is also voluntary and must be done cheerfully.

Method 1:
e-Transfer
via BANK SITE
WITH THE ADVENT OF THE CORONAVIRUS, WE ENCOURAGE OUR DONORS TO GIVE THROUGH ELECTRONIC MEANS WHENEVER POSSIBLE. THIS APPROACH IS THE SAFER WAY AS IT MINIMIZES THE EXCHANGE OF CASH BILLS OR COINS. THIS ALSO ALLOWS THE DONOR TO HAVE AN ELECTRONIC RECORD OF THEIR GIVING.
If you are familiar with Interac email transfers, you can now give to Westway through this route.
From your online banking window with your own bank, simply click the "Transfer" selection (the look and location may vary depending on your bank's online website). Then choose Interac e-Transfer (again your bank may have a slightly different name to this option; the terms we are using here is based on TD Easyweb).
Follow the instruction to set up a new recipient. Once done, you can donate. It is set up to receive donations automatically. Put "Tithe" or "offering" on the remark area.

Method 2:
Cash or Check
via CHURCH
For your convenience, offering envelopes are available for tithes and offerings.
Simply place cash or checks (made payable to Westway Christian Church) in one of these envelopes and put it in the offering bag during any of the weekend services. You may also mail it to Westway Christian Church and we will process your gift.

Online Giving
via CANADA HELPS
THIS IS ANOTHER SAFER WAY TO SUPPORT YOUR CHURCH AS IT ALSO MINIMIZES THE EXCHANGE OF CASH BILLS OR COINS. THIS ALSO ALLOWS THE DONOR TO HAVE AN ELECTRONIC RECORD OF THEIR GIVING.
Canada Helps transmits your donation to the church and gets a small processing fee. You can use your bank account or credit card to give through this option.
